THE INSIGHT: After getting acquired by Unilever, a lot of SheaMoisture’s core audience (Black men and women) had lost faith in SheaMoisture as a brand.
THE IDEA: Let’s create a campaign that celebrates Black culture/history while also showing how SheaMoisture has and continues to support that community.

We created social content that gave shoutouts to real POC business owners and showed behind-the-scenes footage of all the black artists that helped bring this campaign to life.

We created sheamoisturefund.com in order to give POC business owners a one-stop shop for relevant resources and grants they could apply for to help their business during the pandemic. We also used it as a way to show all the ways SheaMoisture was helping the community during this difficult time.
